The Spirit of Christmas Comes to Midhurst

With Christmas just around the corner, for many there’s a sense of an ever growing to-do list; original and charming presents to buy for family and friends; a home to decorate in a tasteful yet interesting manner; festive food to prepare for guests visiting during the festivities… The list goes on.  And then there’s travelling to all the different shops, queuing for parking and fighting the inevitable crowds all vying for a bargain. Eventually you feel that all the fun and sparkle is being ebbed away.

Instead of the usual Christmas drudgery you can head to the Grange over the 26^th and 27^th November between 9am and 3pm where the halls will be packed to the brim with all things Christmas!  You will be welcomed with a cup of mulled wine, able to browse the 60 stalls and taste treats from local suppliers in the Kavanagh’s Budgens food hall. There’s a Christmas grotto to amuse the children, live music and refreshments to keep you going!

Mike Boyce, Centre Manager at the Grange says; “It’s wonderful to be able to host an indoor Christmas Market of this size and incorporate such a wide range of traditional crafts, entertainments and suppliers.  It’s exciting to think that we can provide people with something different to the usual offering on the large high streets”. Just a small taste of what will be available; affordable Italian leather handbags, handmade jewellery, beautiful Christmas cards and wrapping paper, handmade decorations, children’s books, and local seasonal food and drink.  There’s all this and lots more.
